La sala de juntas de la Mayordomía de San Blas de Sax acogía un evento lleno de arte y pasión literaria, el pasado viernes 29 de noviembre en un evento en el cual la ciudadanía sajeña acompañaba en la pequeña sala que llegaba a media entrada.
Las obras presentadas al Certamen ascendían a un total de 211, de las cuales se desestimaban 22 por no cumplir con los requisitos de la convocatoria, y 1 que fue retirado por su autor o autora por haber sido premiado en otro certamen, siendo admitidas a concurso un total de 188.
El jurado estuvo compuesto por el presidente, Francisco Chico Rico. Catedrático de Teoría de la Literatura y Literatura Comparada de la Universidad de Alicante y como vocales, Carmen Galvañ Bernabé. Graduada en Derecho y escritora, María Ángeles Herrero Herrero. Doctora en Filología Catalana y Profesora del Departamento de Filología Catalana de la Universidad de Alicante, Joaquín Juan Penalva. Doctor en Filología Hispánica, Profesor de Literatura Española de la Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche y poeta, Connie Marchante Sáez. Profesora de Lengua y Literatura Españolas del IES Pascual Carrión de Sax y Máster en Estudios Literarios y Vicente Vázquez Hernández. Doctor en Historia, Bibliotecario-Archivero del Ayuntamiento de Sax y Cronista Oficial de la Villa.
El fallo del jurado fue el 24 de julio de 2024, otorgando un primer premio dotado con 1500 euros para la obra ganadora, y 500 para el segundo premio.
Resultando ganador del Primer Premio del IX Certamen Literario de Narrativa Breve “Villa de Sax”, Josefina Solano Maldonado con su obra titulada “Duelo final”. El Segundo Premio del IX Certamen Literario de Narrativa Breve “Villa de Sax”, se otorgaba a Carlos Fernández Salinas con su obra titulada “El rey del bolígrafo”.
El acto estuvo amenizado por el increíble sonido del joven pianista sajeño Gonzalo Barceló Antón ganador del Concurso Nacional de Piano “Ciutat de Carlet” entre otros galardones.
Celebradas nueve ediciones del Certamen Literario de Narrativa Breve “Villa de Sax”. Recordar que el escritor madrileño Pablo José Conejo Pérez, fue el ganador del I Certamen Literario de Narrativa Breve “Villa de Sax” 2016 con su obra “La escapada”. El escritor cordobés Manuel Luque Tapia, fue ganador del II Certamen Literario de Narrativa Breve “Villa de Sax” 2017 con su obra “Mamá está contenta”. El caravaqueño Miguel Sánchez Robles ganaba el III Certamen en 2018, con su obra “La sangre triste de Lulú Santander”, La valenciana Laura Cabedo Cabo, ganaba el Premio del IV Certamen Literario de Narrativa Breve “Villa de Sax” en 2019, con su obra titulada “El Zulo”. En la quinta edición se sumaba como ganador del Premio de Narrativa Breve “Villa de Sax” en 2020, el lorquino, Andrés Porlán Torroglosa, con su obra, “La naturaleza de los dioses “. El escritor José Vicente Pascual ganaba el único premio del VI Certamen Literario de Narrativa Breve “Villa de Sax” 2021, al ser elegida por el jurado su obra “Odiseo rey de Itaca (y de Troya)”. En la séptima edición del certamen ganaba el escritor y periodista Luis Jacinto Gómez Escobar con su obra titulada “Los lobos de la Cortinada”, y como novedad el escritor Jorge Saiz Mingo conseguía el segundo premio con la obra titulada “Los ojos abiertos”. Carlos García Valverde se alzaba con el primer premio del VIII Certamen Literario de Narrativa Breve “Villa de Sax” el segundo premio era para Raúl Clavero Blázquez.
En esta novena edición Josefina Solano Maldonado con su obra titulada “Duelo final” y Carlos Fernández Salinas con su obra titulada “El rey del bolígrafo”, fueron los vencedores.
The meeting room of the Mayordomía de San Blas de Sax hosted an event full of art and literary passion, last Friday, November 29, in an event in which the citizens of Sax accompanied in the small room that was half full.

The jury’s decision was on July 24, 2024, awarding a first prize of 1,500 euros for the winning work, and 500 for the second prize.
The winner of the First Prize of the IX Literary Contest of Short Narrative «Villa de Sax», Josefina Solano Maldonado with her work entitled «Final duel». The Second Prize of the IX Literary Contest of Short Narrative «Villa de Sax», was awarded to Carlos Fernández Salinas with his work entitled «El rey del pluma».
The event was enlivened by the incredible sound of the young pianist from Sax, Gonzalo Barceló Antón, winner of the National Piano Competition “Ciutat de Carlet” among other awards.
Nine editions of the “Villa de Sax” Short Narrative Literary Competition were held.
