La operación policial ha permitido la detención de dos personas y la realización de cuatro registros en los que han intervenido un total de 658 plantas de marihuana, más de 1600 euros en efectivo y cinco armas de fuego largas simuladas
Agentes de la Policía Nacional han detenido en la provincia de Alicante a dos varones de nacionalidad española y rumana, de 26 y 56 años de edad, como presuntos autores de los delitos de tráfico de drogas y defraudación de fluido eléctrico.
La investigación partió tras el análisis de diversas informaciones vecinales en las que se daba cuenta de una posible existencia de una plantación de marihuana en una zona de campo entre las localidades de Elda y Sax.
Al parecer, en el lugar se venía observando un continuo trasiego de vehículos y personas desconocidas, así como se apreciaba un fuerte olor a marihuana, encontrándose además restos de este tipo de plantas en los contenedores urbanos.
Las primeras gestiones apuntaban a dos terrenos colindantes, uno de ellos propiedad del principal investigado y el segundo era el que albergaba la plantación de marihuana.
A lo largo de las vigilancias efectuadas en el lugar, se pudo observar a dos varones visitar y acceder a las fincas, pudiendo determinarse que uno de ellos realizaba labores de custodia, cuidado y cultivo de las plantas, mientras que el otro varón era el que realizaba labores de coordinación y supervisión de dichas plantaciones indoor.
En base a los indicios recabados y otras diligencias de investigación, se solicitó a la autoridad judicial la oportuna entrada y registro en las fincas investigadas, donde se incautaron un total de 453 plantas de marihuana en su fase final de crecimiento, localizadas en tres habitaciones que contaban con un sofisticado sistema hidropónico, transformadores, aparatos de aire y extracción, así como, focos luminiscentes cuyo fin era crear un ambiente de temperatura y humedad óptimo para el rápido crecimiento y floración de las plantas.
Tras esa primera operativa policial, la investigación se centró en una segunda fase, en esta ocasión en unas viviendas situadas en la misma finca ubicada en la localidad de Petrer, donde el principal investigado residía ocasionalmente, localizándose una vivienda en cuyo interior existía una nueva plantación de marihuana “indoor”, esta vez conteniendo 205 plantas en un estado inicial de crecimiento.
Además, los agentes constataron que se estaba produciendo una defraudación del fluido eléctrico por encontrarse todos los lugares investigados enganchados ilegalmente a la red eléctrica.
El operativo se ha saldado con dos varones detenidos por delitos de tráfico de drogas y defraudación de fluido eléctrico, los cuales han sido puestos a disposición del Juzgado de Instrucción de la localidad de Villena.

National Police officers have arrested two men of Spanish and Romanian nationality, aged 26 and 56, in the province of Alicante, as alleged perpetrators of the crimes of drug trafficking and electricity fraud.
The investigation began after the analysis of various information from neighbours in which a possible existence of a marijuana plantation in a rural area between the towns of Elda and Sax was reported.
Apparently, a continuous movement of vehicles and unknown people had been observed in the place, as well as a strong smell of marijuana, and remains of this type of plants were also found in urban containers.
The first steps were aimed at two adjoining plots of land, one of them owned by the main suspect and the second was the one that housed the marijuana plantation.
During the surveillance carried out at the site, two men were observed visiting and accessing the farms, and it was determined that one of them was carrying out tasks of custody, care and cultivation of the plants, while the other man was the one who carried out tasks of coordination and supervision of said indoor plantations.
Based on the evidence collected and other investigative procedures, the judicial authority was asked to enter and search the investigated farms, where a total of 453 marijuana plants were seized in their final phase of growth, located in three rooms that had a sophisticated hydroponic system, transformers, air and extraction equipment, as well as luminescent lights whose purpose was to create an environment of optimal temperature and humidity for the rapid growth and flowering of the plants.
After this first police operation, the investigation focused on a second phase, this time in some houses located in the same property located in the town of Petrer, where the main suspect resided occasionally, locating a house in which there was a new «indoor» marijuana plantation, this time containing 205 plants in an initial state of growth.
In addition, the agents confirmed that there was a fraud of the electric power supply because all the places investigated were illegally connected to the electric power grid.
The operation has resulted in two men arrested for drug trafficking and electricity fraud, who have been placed at the disposal of the Court of Instruction of the town of Villena.
