Con esta iniciativa solidaria, la Sociedad Instructiva Musical Sones de Sax quería colaborar con los damnificados por el terrible temporal que ha afectado mayoritariamente a la Comunidad Valenciana.
El Teatro Cervantes acogió el concierto extraordinario de Santa Cecilia, el pasado viernes 20 de diciembre. En este evento se otorgaba la Lira de Plata a Rosi Alarcón López en reconocimiento a sus 25 años en activo.
La Sociedad Instructiva Musical Sones de Sax rindió homenaje a quienes han sufrido las consecuencias de la devastadora DANA y a sus familias, al tiempo que busca recaudar fondos para los afectados y contribuir a la reconstrucción de las zonas dañadas.
Bajo la batuta de su maestro titular, Sergio Vicedo Reig, la banda ofrecía este concierto extraordinario en el que se presentaba a los nuevos músicos Rafael Uñach Picó, con saxofón, Andrea Lorenzo Cantero, con el clarinete y Francisco Cerdá Esteve, con la trompeta.
En el concierto pudimos escuchar, “El bote” de Saúl Soler, “Sones de Sax” de Raimundo Varela “Mi Barcelona” de Julio Laporta “Agárrate Saxo” de Joaquín Montañez “Un moble més” de Julio Laporta “La leyenda del beso”Arr. Soutollo y Vert “Príncipe Carnaval “Selección de zarzuelas de José Serrano “Horus” y”El Dios del cielo “de Jesús Ufano.
La sociedad sajeña clausuraba así su celebración en honor a Santa Cecilia, que comenzaba el sábado 14 de diciembre y se extendió hasta el viernes 20 de diciembre.
La programación incluía los ya tradicionales conciertos de música, talleres, comida de hermandad, audiciones, misa en honor a la patrona, así como sorpresas que fueron apareciendo durante una semana repleta de actos.

The Saján society thus closed its celebration in honour of Saint Cecilia, which began on Saturday 14 December and lasted until Friday 20 December.
The programme included the traditional music concerts, workshops, fellowship meals, auditions, mass in honour of the patron saint, as well as surprises that appeared during a week full of events.
