El pasado lunes 10 de marzo el IES Pascual Carrión de Sax vivió un día increíble, lleno de emoción, literatura, vocación, compañerismo y entrega a por parte del alumnado, hacia la bonita profesión de la docencia.
La mujer y la literatura siempre han caminado juntas, por ello en el centro de secundaria de Sax, conmemorando la celebración del Día Internacional de la Mujer, lo celebraron poniendo voz a mujeres poetas de todos los tiempos.
Doce alumnos de la asignatura Literatura Universal, de 1° bachillerato, presentaron y recitaron poemas de 24 poetas mujeres ordenadas cronológicamente a lo largo de toda la Historia de la Literatura. Paula Campayo, Sara Cremades, Abril Fernández, Ana Gil, Mariola Gil, Emma Muñoz, Alejandro Herrero, Leyre Loayza, Guadalupe Ochoa, Carlos Piñero, Isabel Senabre y Uriel Valiente, junto a Connie Marchante que desempeñó el papel de coordinadora y presentadora de esta actividad, fueron los grandes protagonistas del evento.
Desde Enheduanna, reconocida como la primera «escritora o poeta» con sus himnos a deidades mesopotámicas consignados en tablillas de arcilla con escritura cuneiforme (marcando que la primera figura literaria en la Historia literaria fue una mujer), hasta Mere Echagüe, una joven representante contemporánea seleccionada en clase que refleja la poesía actual escrita por mujeres. Destacadas figuras literarias como Isabel de Villena, Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, Sylvia Plath, Gabriela Mistral y Shirley Campbell, entre otras, conformaron el elenco poético de un recital que tenía como objetivo acercar el mundo del verso a los jóvenes estudiantes.
Esta actividad buscaba, además, resaltar la relevancia de 24 mujeres que han dejado una huella significativa en la Literatura universal, cuyas contribuciones han sido lamentablemente relegadas en manuales y antologías literarias hasta la fecha.
Last Monday, March 10, the IES Pascual Carrión de Sax experienced an incredible day, full of emotion, literature, vocation, camaraderie and dedication on the part of the students, towards the beautiful profession of teaching.
Women and literature have always walked together, so at the secondary school in Sax, commemorating the celebration of International Women’s Day, they celebrated it by giving voice to women poets of all times.
Twelve students of the Universal Literature subject, from 1st year of high school, presented and recited poems by 24 female poets ordered chronologically throughout the entire History of Literature. Paula Campayo, Sara Cremades, Abril Fernández, Ana Gil, Mariola Gil, Emma Muñoz, Alejandro Herrero, Leyre Loayza, Guadalupe Ochoa, Carlos Piñero, Isabel Senabre and Uriel Valiente, along with Connie Marchante who played the role of coordinator and presenter of this activity, were the main protagonists of the event.
From Enheduanna, recognized as the first “writer or poet” with her hymns to Mesopotamian deities recorded on clay tablets with cuneiform writing (marking that the first literary figure in literary history was a woman), to Mere Echagüe, a young contemporary representative selected in class who reflects current poetry written by women. Prominent literary figures such as Isabel de Villena, Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, Sylvia Plath, Gabriela Mistral and Shirley Campbell, among others, made up the poetic cast of a recital that aimed to bring the world of verse closer to young students.
This activity also sought to highlight the relevance of 24 women who have left a significant mark on universal literature, whose contributions have been unfortunately relegated in literary manuals and anthologies to date.
