La mujer y la literatura siempre han caminado juntas, por ello en el centro de secundaria de Sax, conmemorando la celebración del Día Internacional de la Mujer, van a celebrarlo poniendo voz a mujeres poetas de todos los tiempos.
Doce alumnos de la asignatura Literatura Universal, de 1° bachillerato, presentarán y recitarán poemas de 24 poetas mujeres ordenadas cronológicamente a lo largo de toda la Historia de la Literatura. El evento tendrá lugar en el patio interior del centro el lunes 10 de marzo y como hora de comienzo las 8:55 horas y hasta las 9:40 horas aproximadamente.
Desde Enheduanna, reconocida como la primera «escritora o poeta» con sus himnos a deidades mesopotámicas consignados en tablillas de arcilla con escritura cuneiforme (marcando que la primera figura literaria en la Historia literaria fue una mujer), hasta Mere Echagüe, una joven representante contemporánea seleccionada en clase que refleja la poesía actual escrita por mujeres. Destacadas figuras literarias como Isabel de Villena, Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, Sylvia Plath, Gabriela Mistral y Shirley Campbell, entre otras, conformarán el elenco poético de un recital que tiene como objetivo acercar el mundo del verso a los jóvenes estudiantes. Esta actividad busca, además, resaltar la relevancia de 24 mujeres que han dejado una huella significativa en la Literatura universal, cuyas contribuciones han sido lamentablemente relegadas en manuales y antologías literarias hasta la fecha.
Los estudiantes de bachillerato que tomarán parte en la actividad son: Paula Campayo, Sara Cremades, Abril Fernández, Ana Gil, Mariola Gil, Emma Muñoz, Alejandro Herrero, Leyre Loayza, Guadalupe Ochoa, Carlos Piñero, Isabel Senabre y Uriel Valiente.
Connie Marchante desempeñará el papel de coordinadora y presentadora de esta actividad. Licenciada en Filología Hispánica, posee un Máster en Estudios Literarios y un Diploma de Estudios Avanzados en Literatura castellana e hispanoamericana. Actualmente, es docente en el Departamento de Lengua Castellana y Literatura del IES Pascual Carrión, ubicado en Sax.
Women and literature have always walked together, and so at the Sax secondary school, commemorating the celebration of International Women’s Day, they will celebrate by giving voice to women poets of all times.
Twelve students from the Universal Literature course, from the first year of high school, will present and recite poems by 24 female poets, arranged chronologically throughout the history of literature. The event will take place in the inner courtyard of the centre on Monday 10 March, starting at 8:55 am and ending at approximately 9:40 am.
From Enheduanna, recognized as the first «writer or poet» with her hymns to Mesopotamian deities recorded on clay tablets with cuneiform writing (marking that the first literary figure in literary history was a woman), to Mere Echagüe, a young contemporary representative selected in class who reflects current poetry written by women. Prominent literary figures such as Isabel de Villena, Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, Sylvia Plath, Gabriela Mistral and Shirley Campbell, among others, will make up the poetic cast of a recital that aims to bring the world of verse closer to young students. This activity also seeks to highlight the relevance of 24 women who have left a significant mark on universal literature, whose contributions have been unfortunately relegated in literary textbooks and anthologies to date.
The high school students who will take part in the activity are: Paula Campayo, Sara Cremades, Abril Fernández, Ana Gil, Mariola Gil, Emma Muñoz, Alejandro Herrero, Leyre Loayza, Guadalupe Ochoa, Carlos Piñero, Isabel Senabre and Uriel Valiente.
Connie Marchante will play the role of coordinator and presenter of this activity. She holds a degree in Hispanic Philology, a Master’s Degree in Literary Studies and a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Castilian and Latin American Literature. She is currently a teacher in the Department of Spanish Language and Literature at the IES Pascual Carrión, located in Sax.
