La exposición fotográfica de Mercedes Candelas «Tiempo sin tiempo. Luces y Sombras del cáncer» se puede visitar en la Casa Alberto Sols de Sax. Además, el viernes 7 de marzo, la protagonista de las fotografías,Pepi Martínez ofrecerá la charla «Tiempo sin tiempo», para profundizar en las historias que hay detrás de cada imagen.
El horario de visitas es, por las mañanas de lunes a viernes, 10:00-13:00 horas y las tardes los lunes, viernes y sábado, de 18:00 a 20:00 horas, expuesta hasta el 14 de marzo.
La artista eldense Mercedes Candelas nuestra a través de las fotografías, los encuentros con Pepi Martínez, sus alegrías, tristezas, miedos y la incertidumbre que acompaña a la enfermedad. Las imágenes se presentan junto con textos escritos por la protagonista, Pepi Martínez.
En España se diagnostican más de 280.000 nuevos cánceres al año y es una de las primeras causas de fallecimiento en todo el mundo. Dada la gran cantidad de personas afectadas, se hace necesario poner en valor su capacidad para afrontar esta enfermedad y sus duros tratamientos, además de visibilizar a Asociaciones que las apoyan y contribuyen a aliviar su sufrimiento.
Tiempo sin tiempo es un proyecto fotográfico que nos adentra en esta realidad a través del testimonio de vida de Pepi Martínez, que inició su proceso hace más de seis años. Vivir, morir, cambio, sufrimiento, aceptación, incertidumbre, dudas, esperanza, fuerza y resiliencia son algunas palabras clave de este tiempo.
