El sajeño Vicente Vázquez Hernández llevara a cabo durante las próximas fechas la presentación de último trabajo publicado por la editorial ECU de Alicante, que ya está a la venta en la librería Origami de Sax, con un PVP de 14,90 euros. También se puede adquirir por Amazon, en la Casa del Libro y a través de la web de la editorial ECU.
La primera fecha y punto de partida de la presentación tendrá lugar en Elda, en el marco de la Tertulia Asociación Cultural de Elda y Petrer, y será el jueves 16 de enero a las 20:00 horas con la entrada libre hasta completar aforo. El sajeño Vicente Vázquez estará acompañado por Juan Vera Gil, presidente de la Tertulia.
Esta nueva obra del Doctor en Geografía e Historia, cronista oficial de la villa de Sax y bibliotecario, Vicente Vázquez Hernández, muestra a través de sus 168 páginas una colección de relatos históricos que aúna la investigación y el deseo de imaginar lo que pudo ocurrir con los protagonistas mientras aborda una variedad de temas como la familia, la justicia, la política, la amistad, la lealtad, la traición y los conflictos culturales, que se entrelazan con el contexto histórico en el que están ambientados, lo que añade profundidad y relevancia a la narración.
Los recuerdos familiares, transmitidos de forma oral de padres a hijos, de abuelos a nietos, son el germen de varios relatos. En otras ocasiones, una nota a pie de página en un artículo de investigación es el factor desencadenante de la inspiración creativa y el deseo de dar forma literaria a la intuición de lo que habría podido suceder, respondiendo a la pregunta de «¿y si…?». Y la mezcla de imaginación y memoria, de ficción e historia, es la base de estos relatos, donde casi todos los personajes son reales, como también lo son los lugares donde transcurre la acción: pueblos, calles, plazas, edificios…, contribuyendo a recrear una atmosfera fidedigna.
La presentación del libro en Sax está prevista para la segunda quincena del próximo mes de febrero.Tambien tendrá presentación publica en otras localidades de nuestra comarca.
El primer relato del libro, y que le da título, fue primer premio en el Certamen Internacional de Relato Histórico Breve «Álvaro de Luna», en el año 2022, de Cañete (Cuenca).

This new work by the Doctor in Geography and History, official chronicler of the town of Sax and librarian, Vicente Vázquez Hernández, shows through its 168 pages a collection of historical stories that combines research and the desire to imagine what could have happened to the protagonists while addressing a variety of topics such as family, justice, politics, friendship, loyalty, betrayal and cultural conflicts, which are intertwined with the historical context in which they are set, which adds depth and relevance to the narrative.
Family memories, transmitted orally from parents to children, from grandparents to grandchildren, are the germ of several stories. On other occasions, a footnote in a research article is the trigger for creative inspiration and the desire to give literary form to the intuition of what could have happened, answering the question of «what if…?» And the mixture of imagination and memory, of fiction and history, is the basis of these stories, where almost all the characters are real, as are the places where the action takes place: towns, streets, squares, buildings…, contributing to recreating a faithful atmosphere.
The presentation of the book in Sax is scheduled for the second half of next February. It will also have a public presentation in other towns in our region.
The first story in the book, which gives it its title, won first prize in the «Álvaro de Luna» International Short Historical Story Competition, in 2022, in Cañete (Cuenca).
