El pasado domingo 2 de marzo, el Teatro Cervantes fue el escenario de la presentación del equipo Essax-SVICO Foundation-Grupo Arrfran del Club Ciclista Sax, donde se dio a conocer su prometedor proyecto para la emocionante temporada 2025 en las categorías Élite y Sub23.
La escuadra bajo la dirección de Juan Miguel Pérez posee ciclistas de gran calibre, aptos para competir en múltiples modalidades, ya sea en las clásicas de un solo día, en la Copa de España o en las distintas Vueltas.
David Pérez, presidente de la Fundación Svico, asistía al evento y constataba el notable ambiente positivo que permea en el grupo. Juan Arres, en calidad de representante del Grupo ARRFRAN, y José Bernabé, presidente del Club Ciclista Sax, desempeñaron un papel destacado en el evento de presentación.
Asimismo, estuvieron presentes el seleccionador nacional Sub23 y vicepresidente de la FCCV, Pascual Orengo; el entrenador Sub23 de la Federación Autonómica, José Vicente Bonillo; y el ciclista profesional de Euskaltel-Estado, Iker Bonillo.
A nivel local, asistieron a la convocatoria el primer teniente de alcalde de Sax, Juan Rico, junto con el concejal de Deportes, Francisco Salguero.
A lo largo de la velada, David Pérez, presidente de la Fundación SVICO, dirigió unas palabras a los presentes para expresar su firme compromiso con el equipo Essax-SVICO Foundation-Grupo Arrfran. Reconoció que el ciclismo es una de sus grandes pasiones, con la que se siente profundamente alineado debido a los valores que este deporte imparte y representa. Por consiguiente, reafirmó su compromiso de fomentar el ciclismo en la región, así como de contribuir al bienestar colectivo y de impulsar el avance y la evolución de la industria en Sax y sus alrededores.

On Sunday, March 2, the Cervantes Theater was the setting for the presentation of the Essax-SVICO Foundation-Grupo Arrfran team of the Sax Cycling Club, where their promising project for the exciting 2025 season in the Elite and Under-23 categories was unveiled.
The squad under the direction of Juan Miguel Pérez has high-caliber cyclists, suitable for competing in multiple modalities, whether in the one-day classics, in the Spanish Cup or in the different Vueltas.
David Pérez, president of the Svico Foundation, attended the event and confirmed the remarkable positive atmosphere that permeates the group. Juan Arres, as representative of the ARRFRAN Group, and José Bernabé, president of the Sax Cycling Club, played a prominent role in the presentation event.
Also present were the national Under-23 coach and vice president of the FCCV, Pascual Orengo; the Under-23 coach of the Autonomous Federation, José Vicente Bonillo; and the professional cyclist from Euskaltel-Estado, Iker Bonillo.
At a local level, the first deputy mayor of Sax, Juan Rico, attended the event, together with the councillor for Sports, Francisco Salguero.
During the evening, David Pérez, president of the SVICO Foundation, addressed those present to express his firm commitment to the Essax-SVICO Foundation-Grupo Arrfran team. He acknowledged that cycling is one of his great passions, with which he feels deeply aligned due to the values that this sport imparts and represents. Consequently, he reaffirmed his commitment to promoting cycling in the region, as well as contributing to collective well-being and promoting the advancement and evolution of the industry in Sax and its surroundings.
