La Iglesia de Sax, esconde muchos secretos, elementos que parecen lo que no son, enigmas, personajes e historias muy interesantes, que poco a poco iremos descubriendo, a través del nuevo catalogo que se presentara el sábado 21 de diciembre en el mismo templo parroquial.
El decimosexto catálogo del Grupo Patrimonio del Aula Universitaria de Sax se centra en la parroquia Nuestra Señora de la Asunción de Sax, titulado «Secretos y misterios de la iglesia de Sax», donde se desvelan las enigmáticas historias de nuestro templo.
Si sientes una profunda pasión por el patrimonio y eres un ferviente admirador de tu localidad y sus riquezas, y deseas desentrañar los significados religiosos que subyacen en cada uno de los elementos de nuestro templo, te invitamos a la presentación del nuevo catálogo, que se llevará a cabo en la propia iglesia el sábado 21 de diciembre a las 20:15 horas.
Podremos desvelar interrogantes tales como: ¿Existía una cripta? ¿Qué enigmas alberga el campanario? ¿Cuál es la naturaleza del cuartico de los nichos? ¿Qué secretos ocultan las bóvedas? ¿Es posible que contenga tesoros? ¿Llevan los cuadros algún mensaje oculto? ¿Estás al tanto de cómo las guerras han influido en su historia? ¿Sabías que el origen de la música en Sax se remonta a la iglesia? ¿Conoces la conexión entre las capillas y la contienda contra los turcos? ¿Y entre la capilla del Rosario y la Mayordomía de San Blas? ¿Entiendes el significado de «la misa a la media»? ¿Estabas informado de que las almas en purgatorio vagan por la iglesia o de la veneración del patrón de Praga en Sax? ¿Reconoces el mensaje del Altar Mayor? ¿Sabes quiénes han sido los auténticos patronos de Sax?.
The Church of Sax hides many secrets, elements that seem to be what they are not, enigmas, characters and very interesting stories, which we will gradually discover through the new catalogue that will be presented on Saturday, December 21 in the same parish church.
The sixteenth catalogue of the Heritage Group of the University Classroom of Sax focuses on the parish of Our Lady of the Assumption of Sax, entitled «Secrets and mysteries of the church of Sax», where the enigmatic stories of our temple are revealed.
If you feel a deep passion for heritage and are a fervent admirer of your town and its riches, and you wish to unravel the religious meanings that underlie each of the elements of our temple, we invite you to the presentation of the new catalogue, which will take place in the church itself on Saturday, December 21 at 8:15 p.m.
We will be able to reveal questions such as: Was there a crypt? What mysteries does the bell tower hold? What is the nature of the small niches? What secrets do the vaults hide? Is it possible that they contain treasures? Do the paintings carry a hidden message? Are you aware of how wars have influenced its history? Did you know that the origin of music in Sax dates back to the church? Do you know the connection between the chapels and the war against the Turks? And between the Rosary Chapel and the Mayordomía de San Blas? Do you understand the meaning of «the half-mass»? Were you aware that souls in purgatory wander around the church or of the veneration of the patron saint of Prague in Sax? Do you recognise the message of the High Altar? Do you know who the true patrons of Sax were?
