La Asociación Cultural Somos Anti Xenofobia cierra esta semana su 19º año consecutivo de Música, Denuncia Social y Solidaridad. Y lo hace con la programación en la Cafetería de Casa de Cultura de Villena, este viernes 13 de diciembre, a partir de las 22.22h.
En esta ocasión, el colectivo apuesta por las músicas en árabe, con un proyecto musical llamado Rawan Project. Formado por cantante y compositora palestina Rawan, acompañado por el músico sudanés Wafir S. Gibril y músico y compositor boliviano El Zuri.
Su repertorio se basa en las confluencias de músicas de Oriente Medio y el Norte de África con raíces palestinas. Abrazan canciones de Irak, Marruecos, Argelia, Palestina, aunque también hacen guiños a ritmos de Cuba o España. En definitiva, mestizaje musical y humano, una de las premisas del colectivo organizador desde su fundación. Esta actividad está enmarcada dentro de las actividades del Día Internacional del Migrante que celebra el Ayuntamiento de Villena.

Desde la organización se quiere agradecer como siempre la colaboración de la Casa de Cultura, que hace posible este evento, así como la participación de Restaurante Di Trevi, y en esta ocasión con la Plataforma Villena Por La Paz.
Además, la Asociación Cultural Somos Anti Xenofobia, aprovecha la presencia de estos músicos para al día siguiente, sábado, organizar uno de sus eventos por primera vez en la ciudad de Albacete.
Será con la actuación de Ál Azar, y su particular «Laboratorio de Música Árabe», acompañado una sesión de ritmos de esas tierras, con el difusor de músicas étnicas Boni PinchaMundos. El lugar será el Centro Social Auto-Gestionado «La Casa Vieja», y la hora a a partir de las 19.19h.
Todo un fin de semana intenso para cerrar como se merece un año más de activismo socio-cultural, con el ojo ya puesto en el 2025, donde este colectivo cumplirá su 20º año de existencia… e insistencia.

On this occasion, the collective is betting on music in Arabic, with a musical project called Rawan Project. Formed by Palestinian singer and composer Rawan, accompanied by Sudanese musician Wafir S. Gibril and Bolivian musician and composer El Zuri.
Their repertoire is based on the confluences of music from the Middle East and North Africa with Palestinian roots. They embrace songs from Iraq, Morocco, Algeria, Palestine, although they also make nods to rhythms from Cuba or Spain. In short, musical and human fusion, one of the premises of the organizing collective since its foundation. This activity is part of the activities of the International Migrants Day celebrated by Villena City Council.
