Se empiezan a escuchar las primeras notas de pasodobles, el ambiente festivo en las comparsas crece y poco a poco va llegando esa mezcla de emociones que a los sajeños nos invaden conforme se va acercando el día.
Después de un enero lleno de actos, asomará febrero, con sus trajes, pastas y gentes preparados para esos 5 días mágicos que unen a todo un pueblo. El pistoletazo de salida llega con la entrada de bandas y la fiesta del pasodoble.
El inicio se marca con la evocadora llegada de las bandas y la interpretación del pasodoble del maestro Miguel Villar González. El musico y festero Daniel Antolín Compañ será el encargado de dirigir el himno de nuestras fiestas el sábado 1 de febrero, contribuyendo así a la rica historia de nuestras tradiciones. Se unirá a la lista de 20 directores que, en años previos, dieron vida a la Sociedad Unión Musical y Artística de Sax con la interpretación del «Viva San Blas» en la Plaza de la Constitución, bajo la atenta mirada de los habitantes de Sax, marcando el inicio de nuestras Fiestas de San Blas.
Daniel Antolín nace en Sax, en el entorno de una familia garibaldina, comparsa a la que pertenece desde que nació, recibiendo de sus padres y desde muy pequeño, un gran sentimiento hacia nuestras fiestas y San Blas.
