El pasado sábado 8 de marzo se llevó cabo uno de los actos coordinados por la Asociación Sax por la Igualdad, la lectura del manifiesto del 8M en la Plaza de San Sebastián, que estuvo acompañado por la lluvia.
Este acto se fundamenta en la convicción de que, para avanzar en nuestros derechos, es imperativo encontrarnos y avanzar juntos en nuestra diversidad, promoviendo el respeto por nuestras diferencias y reconociendo que cada uno de nosotros es esencial.
La sajeña Josabel Cuenca García puso voz al manifiesto:
Hoy, 8 de marzo de 2025, Día INTERNACIONAL DE LAS MUJERES, salimos a las calles, para celebrar nuestras conquistas y seguir reivindicando el avance en nuestros derechos sociales, económicos, laborales, etc. Porque los derechos de las mujeres son Derechos Humanos. Hoy, decimos alto y claro que nuestro compromiso es cumplir con la agenda feminista que integra las reivindicaciones del movimiento feminista mundial.
¡Porque el feminismo es internacionalista y motor de transformación social!
Las mujeres continuamos sufriendo los mayores niveles de desigualdad, injusticia social y violencia.
Los derechos consolidados de las mujeres no pueden ser abolidos, vulnerados o ninguneados. Todas estas situaciones empeoran la salud física, mental y social de todas nosotras.
Por eso nuestro lema este 8 de marzo es: “Defendiendo la agenda Feminista”. La Agenda Feminista la construyen las mujeres que ven violentados sus derechos permanentemente. Porque sigue siendo necesaria la alianza en todo el movimiento feminista, y de toda la sociedad, para hacer efectivas nuestras reivindicaciones. Porque los derechos de las mujeres son vulnerados diariamente en todo el mundo.
¡Viva la fuerza de las mujeres!
Las feministas, herederas de aquellas que con su empeño y determinación consiguieron derechos civiles, políticos y sociales para la mitad de la población excluida,
Reclamamos que se garantice nuestro derecho a la participación e interlocución en todos los espacios y ámbitos. Sin el desarrollo de estos derechos, no existe una auténtica democracia y el capitalismo neoliberal, en alianza con la ultraderecha, seguirá avanzando innegablemente.
La VIOLENCIA MACHISTA sigue siendo la más terrible expresión de la desigualdad entre mujeres y hombres.
Las agresiones sexuales han crecido exponencialmente en estos últimos años. También entre adolescentes y menores de edad. Y, todavía, hoy en día, muchas agresiones sexuales permanecen ocultas.
Decimos ¡BASTA ya! de violencia machista. Desde la más brutal, como los asesinatos, hasta la más cotidiana e invisibilizada. Sea cual sea nuestra edad y condición.
La agenda feminista reivindica la abolición de la prostitución, de la pornografía y los vientres de alquiler, fenómenos que se han convertido en una auténtica “industria económica” a costa de los derechos de las mujeres.
Basta ya de precariedad laboral, base de la feminización de la pobreza.
Las mujeres continuamos sufriendo los mayores niveles de desigualdad e injusticia social respecto a los varones, los más altos índices de desempleo, las brechas salariales, mayores dificultades de acceso al empleo y peores pensiones. A la vez, soportamos mayoritariamente los cuidados de la infancia, personas mayores y con diversidad funcional.
La ley de conciliación por sí sola no puede producir los cambios necesarios. Se necesitan políticas y servicios públicos de calidad y que pongan los cuidados en el centro dándoles el reconocimiento que merecen.
Reivindicamos avanzar en permisos de cuidado y crianza para madres y padres, iguales e intransferibles, así como proponer y ejecutar cambios horarios y jornadas laborales.
¡ES URGENTE UNA ESCUELA LAICA, COEDUCATIVA e INCLUYENTE!!
EXIGIMOS que la COEDUCACIÓN sea una realidad. Que haga posible una educación para avanzar hacia la Cultura Feminista de Igualdad y de Paz, superadora del modelo androcéntrico y de los estereotipos y roles de género.
¡EL ESPACIO PÚBLICO TAMBIÉN ES NUESTRO!
Seguimos necesitando de políticas para movernos con seguridad. Instamos a la adopción de medidas que acompasen la necesaria sensibilización y nos den mayor seguridad. En definitiva, en la construcción de los espacios ciudadanos es imprescindible tener en cuenta las cuestiones que afectan a las mujeres.
¡NO A LA GUERRA!
En toda guerra, las mujeres sufren doblemente. Por ellas y por sus familias. Quedan como sostenedoras físicas y emocionales. Sufren abuso, violencia, violaciones. ¡Sus cuerpos son usados como arma de guerra!
Estamos con las mujeres que están sufriendo y resistiendo situaciones extremas de represión, de misoginia, de violencia.
Recordamos a nuestras hermanas afganas, iraníes, gazatíes, presas bajo regímenes de terror misógino, abandonadas por la comunidad internacional.
Por ellas, por tantas, nuestra internacional sororidad .
¡El movimiento feminista es un movimiento pacifista!
POR TODO LO ANTERIORMENTE EXPUESTO:
Exigimos a los gobiernos estatales, autonómicos y locales, INSTITUCIONES PÚBLICAS COMO PRIVADAS Y A LA SOCIEDAD EN SU CONJUNTO, que pongan a las mujeres y niñas en el centro de sus políticas para alcanzar la Igualdad real y efectiva que recoge nuestro marco normativo.
EL FEMINISMO está en peligro extremo porque la democracia también lo está.
¡¡Os invitamos a defender la DEMOCRACIA y el FEMINISMO!!!!

Today, March 8, 2025, INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY, we take to the streets to celebrate our achievements and continue to demand progress in our social, economic, labor rights, etc. Because women’s rights are Human Rights. Today, we say loud and clear that our commitment is to fulfill the feminist agenda that integrates the demands of the global feminist movement.
Because feminism is internationalist and a driving force of social transformation!
Women continue to suffer the highest levels of inequality, social injustice and violence.
The consolidated rights of women cannot be abolished, violated or ignored. All of these situations worsen the physical, mental and social health of all of us.
That is why our motto this March 8 is: “Defending the Feminist Agenda.” The Feminist Agenda is built by women who see their rights permanently violated. Because the alliance throughout the feminist movement, and throughout society, is still necessary to make our demands effective. Because women’s rights are violated daily throughout the world.

Feminists, heirs to those who with their determination and commitment achieved civil, political and social rights for half of the excluded population,
We demand that our right to participation and dialogue in all spaces and areas be guaranteed. Without the development of these rights, there is no authentic democracy and neoliberal capitalism, in alliance with the extreme right, will continue to advance undeniably.
MACHISTA VIOLENCE continues to be the most terrible expression of inequality between women and men.
Sexual assaults have grown exponentially in recent years. Also among adolescents and minors. And, even today, many sexual assaults remain hidden.
We say ENOUGH already! of sexist violence. From the most brutal, such as murders, to the most everyday and invisible. Whatever our age and condition.
The feminist agenda calls for the abolition of prostitution, pornography and surrogacy, phenomena that have become a true “economic industry” at the expense of women’s rights.
Enough of job insecurity, the basis of the feminization of poverty.
Women continue to suffer the highest levels of inequality and social injustice compared to men, the highest unemployment rates, wage gaps, greater difficulties in accessing employment and worse pensions. At the same time, we are the majority responsible for caring for children, the elderly and people with functional diversity.
The conciliation law alone cannot produce the necessary changes. Quality public policies and services are needed that put care at the center by giving them the recognition they deserve.
We demand progress in care and parenting permits for mothers and fathers, equal and non-transferable, as well as proposing and implementing changes in work hours and days.
A SECULAR, COEDUCATIONAL AND INCLUSIVE SCHOOL IS URGENTLY NEEDED!!
WE DEMAND that COEDUCATION becomes a reality. That it makes possible an education to advance towards a Feminist Culture of Equality and Peace, overcoming the androcentric model and gender stereotypes and roles.
PUBLIC SPACE IS ALSO OURS!
We continue to need policies to move safely. We urge the adoption of measures that accompany the necessary awareness and give us greater security. In short, in the construction of citizen spaces it is essential to take into account the issues that affect women.
NO TO WAR!
In every war, women suffer twice. For themselves and for their families. They are left as physical and emotional supporters. They suffer abuse, violence, rape. Their bodies are used as a weapon of war!
We are with the women who are suffering and resisting extreme situations of repression, misogyny, and violence.
We remember our Afghan, Iranian, and Gazan sisters, prisoners under misogynistic terror regimes, abandoned by the international community.
For them, for so many, our international sisterhood.
The feminist movement is a pacifist movement!
FOR ALL OF THE ABOVE:
We demand that state, regional and local governments, PUBLIC AND PRIVATE INSTITUTIONS, AND SOCIETY AS A WHOLE, put women and girls at the centre of their policies in order to achieve the real and effective Equality that our regulatory framework includes.
FEMINISM is in extreme danger because democracy is too.
We invite you to defend DEMOCRACY and FEMINISM!!!!
