El Pleno del Ayuntamiento de Mutxamel aprobaba la firma de un convenio de colaboración con la Asociación Magic Eagle, especializada en terapias asistidas con aves rapaces. Esta iniciativa permitirá ofrecer una alternativa terapéutica innovadora y altamente efectiva para personas con necesidades especiales, enfermedades neurológicas o en situación de vulnerabilidad.
Desde el Ayuntamiento de Mutxamel el concejal Miguel Da Silva Ortega, defendía la importancia de esta medida, subrayando que “tras conocer los resultados de estas terapias en otros municipios de la Comunidad Valenciana, pensamos que Mutxamel también debe aprovechar esta oportunidad para mejorar la calidad de vida de nuestros vecinos”.
Magic Eagle es una asociación sajeña con más de doce años de experiencia, reconocida como proveedora de la Generalitat Valenciana y con una trayectoria de éxito en colegios, residencias de mayores y asociaciones de toda España. Entre los beneficios de sus terapias destacan la mejora en la comunicación, la reducción de la ansiedad, el desarrollo de la empatía y el refuerzo de habilidades psicomotrices.
La terapia con aves está especialmente indicada para personas con enfermedades como el Alzheimer, el Parkinson, la parálisis cerebral o trastornos del espectro autista. Además, ha demostrado ser altamente efectiva en la reducción del estrés, la ansiedad y la depresión, ofreciendo una alternativa real a los métodos tradicionales que en muchos casos resultan insuficientes.
Otro de los pilares del proyecto es su enfoque educativo. La asociación promueve la educación asistida con aves, una potente herramienta didáctica que fomenta la concentración, la cooperación y el respeto por la naturaleza. Sus charlas medioambientales están enmarcadas en el proyecto Tras las Huellas de Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente, dirigido por la bióloga Odile Rodríguez de la Fuente, hija del célebre divulgador naturalista.
Desde Mutxamel celebran la aprobación de esta iniciativa que supondrá un gran avance en el ámbito del bienestar social del municipio. “Nuestro objetivo es que el Ayuntamiento materialice cuanto antes este convenio para que estas terapias puedan ofrecerse a quienes más lo necesitan: nuestros mayores, personas con discapacidad y los jóvenes del municipio”, ha concluido el concejal Da Silva Ortega.

The Plenary Session of the Mutxamel Town Council approved the signing of a collaboration agreement with the Magic Eagle Association, specialised in therapies assisted by birds of prey. This initiative will allow an innovative and highly effective therapeutic alternative to be offered to people with special needs, neurological diseases or in vulnerable situations.
From the Mutxamel Town Council, councillor Miguel Da Silva Ortega, defended the importance of this measure, stressing that “after learning about the results of these therapies in other municipalities in the Valencian Community, we think that Mutxamel should also take advantage of this opportunity to improve the quality of life of our neighbours”.
Magic Eagle is a sajeña association with more than twelve years of experience, recognised as a supplier of the Generalitat Valenciana and with a successful track record in schools, senior residences and associations throughout Spain. Among the benefits of its therapies are the improvement in communication, the reduction of anxiety, the development of empathy and the reinforcement of psychomotor skills.
Bird therapy is especially indicated for people with diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, cerebral palsy or autism spectrum disorders. In addition, it has proven to be highly effective in reducing stress, anxiety and depression, offering a real alternative to traditional methods that in many cases are insufficient.
Another of the pillars of the project is its educational approach. The association promotes bird-assisted education, a powerful teaching tool that encourages concentration, cooperation and respect for nature. Its environmental talks are part of the project Tras las Huellas de Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente, directed by biologist Odile Rodríguez de la Fuente, daughter of the famous naturalist populariser.
Mutxamel celebrates the approval of this initiative that will represent a great advance in the area of social welfare in the municipality. «Our objective is for the City Council to materialize this agreement as soon as possible so that these therapies can be offered to those who need it most: our elderly, people with disabilities and the young people of the municipality,» concluded Councillor Da Silva Ortega.
