La sociedad musical sajeña ha informado de los actos previstos con motivo de la festividad de Santa Cecilia que darán inicio el sábado 14 de diciembre y se extenderán hasta el viernes 20 de diciembre.
La programación incluye los ya tradicionales conciertos de música, talleres, comida de hermandad, audiciones, misa en honor a la patrona, así como sorpresas que irán apareciendo durante una semana repleta de actos.
Este año, la Sociedad Instructiva Musical Sones de Sax contará con la incorporación de tres nuevos educandos: Rafael Uñach Pico con el saxofón, Andrea Lorenzo Cantero con el clarinete y Francisco Cerdá Esteve con la trompeta.
El sábado 14 de diciembre se llevará a cabo el taller “Crea tu propia Tote Bang Musical”, que se ofrecerá en la sede de los Sones en la calle Yecla, a las 10:00 horas, tras una mañana llena de actividades, se celebrara Santa Cecilia con la comida de hermandad
El domingo 15 de diciembre se realizará a las 9:00 horas un pasacalle para recoger a los tres nuevos músicos, finalizando en la Iglesia Parroquial Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, donde se procederá a las 11:00 horas con la misa en honor a Santa Cecilia.
El jueves 19 de diciembre, se celebrarán a las 19:00 horas las audiciones de la Escuela en el Teatro municipal Cervantes, tras la muestra de lo aprendido por los jóvenes educandos, se celebrará el Concierto de Navidad.
Para finalizar las celebraciones, el Teatro Cervantes acogerá el concierto extraordinario de Santa Cecilia, el viernes 20 de diciembre, a las 20:00 horas. Al mismo tiempo se ha decidido crear una fila 0 para las víctimas de la DANA en el concierto conmemorativo. Los asistentes podrán dar su dinero en efectivo donde se presentarán oficialmente a los tres nuevos músicos. En este evento se otorgará la Lira de Plata a Rosi Alarcón López en reconocimiento a sus 25 años en activo.
El presidente de la entidad, Pedro Gutiérrez Cazorla, ha explicado que estos actos se deberían de haberse realizado el pasado mes de noviembre, pero se aplazaron en solidaridad con las poblaciones afectadas por la DANA y dada la situación extrema, de esos momentos que se suspendió toda la actividad municipal organizada para esas fechas.
